1. Introduction

Welcome to Detective Guru Academy™.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Detective Guru Academy™ website, mobile applications (if any), online platforms, digital products and educational services (collectively referred to as the "Platform").

By accessing, browsing, registering on or using any part of our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should discontinue the use of our Platform and services immediately.

These Terms apply to all visitors, learners, registered users, customers, members of DG Connect™, participants in our Learning Programs and anyone accessing our educational content or services.

Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing or using any of our Learning Solutions.

By continuing to use the Platform, you confirm that you agree to comply with these Terms as well as any additional policies, guidelines or notices published by Detective Guru Academy™ from time to time.

2. Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms & Conditions, the following words shall have the meanings assigned below unless the context requires otherwise.

"Academy" refers to Detective Guru Academy™.

"Platform" refers to the Detective Guru Academy™ website, mobile applications (if any), Learning Management System (LMS), online portals and any other digital platform operated by or on behalf of the Academy.

"User", "Learner", "You" or "Your" refers to any individual who accesses, browses, registers, purchases or uses any part of the Platform or its Learning Solutions.

"Learning Solutions" include, but are not limited to, Books, Online Courses, Workshops, Webinars, Consultations, Certifications, downloadable resources and any future educational services offered by the Academy.

"Content" includes text, graphics, videos, audio recordings, presentations, PDFs, assessments, quizzes, worksheets, articles, images, trademarks, logos and all other educational materials published on the Platform.

"DG Connect™" refers to the Academy's Invitation-based Learning Community.

Words importing the singular shall include the plural and vice versa wherever the context permits.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering on or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to comply with these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations.

Your continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of these Terms, whether or not you have created an account or purchased any Learning Solution.

If you do not agree with these Terms or any future updates, you must discontinue the use of the Platform immediately.

Detective Guru Academy™ reserves the right to update, modify or revise these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on the Platform, and your continued use of the Platform after such publication shall constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.

5. Eligibility to Use Our Services

Certain Learning Solutions, Workshops, Consultations or Community Memberships may have additional eligibility requirements. Detective Guru Academy™ reserves the right to accept, reject or cancel any registration, enrolment or participation where considered appropriate.

6. User Registration & Account Responsibility

Certain features of the Platform may require you to create a user account.

When creating an account, you agree to:

1. Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information.
2. Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
3. Be solely responsible for all activities carried out through your account.
4. Notify Detective Guru Academy™ immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access or security breach.

Detective Guru Academy™ offers a variety of educational Learning Solutions designed to support personal and professional development. These may include, but are not limited to:

4. Webinars
5. Consultations
6. Certifications
7. Educational Downloads
8. Digital Resources
9. Future Learning Solutions introduced by the Academy

Each Learning Solution is intended solely for educational purposes and may have additional rules, eligibility requirements or participation conditions.

By purchasing, enrolling in or participating in any Learning Solution, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions as well as any specific instructions communicated for that particular Learning Solution.

7.1 Books

Books published by Detective Guru Academy™ are intended for educational and informational purposes only.

The purchase of a Book grants the purchaser ownership of the physical or digital copy purchased. It does not transfer any copyright, intellectual property rights or permission to reproduce, distribute, translate, modify, resell or commercially exploit the content.

Digital Books are licensed for personal use only unless expressly stated otherwise.

7.2 Online Courses

Online Courses are provided through the Academy's Learning Platform and are licensed to the registered learner only.

Course access is personal and non-transferable.

Users must not:

1. Share login credentials.
2. Share course videos or study material.
3. Record, download or redistribute course content without written permission.
4. Upload course material to any public platform or AI training system without authorisation.

Course access duration, renewal terms and availability shall be communicated at the time of enrolment.

The Academy reserves the right to update, improve or revise course content from time to time.

7.3 Workshops

Workshops may be conducted online or offline.

Participation is limited to registered attendees.

The Academy reserves the right to:

1. Modify the schedule.
2. Change the venue.
3. Change the trainer or speaker when necessary.
4. Reschedule a Workshop due to unforeseen circumstances.

Photography or recording during Workshops may be restricted unless prior permission has been granted.

7.4 Webinars

Webinars are educational learning sessions conducted online.

Registered participants are responsible for ensuring that they have a stable internet connection and compatible devices.

Live Webinar recordings may or may not be made available after the event at the sole discretion of the Academy.

Access to Webinar recordings, where provided, is for personal educational use only.

7.5 Consultations

Consultations are educational guidance sessions intended to help individuals better understand specific topics, learning pathways or general decision-making frameworks.

Consultations are not intended to replace professional legal advice, medical advice, psychological counselling, financial advice or any other regulated professional service.

The Academy reserves the right to decline or discontinue a Consultation where the request falls outside the scope of educational guidance.

7.6 Certifications

Certificates issued by Detective Guru Academy™ recognise successful completion of designated Learning Programs or assessments.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

1. Certificates represent educational achievement only.
2. Certificates do not constitute a government licence.
3. Certificates do not authorise professional practice.
4. Certificates do not guarantee employment, business success or any specific outcome.

The Academy reserves the right to withhold, revoke or refuse certification where academic dishonesty, misconduct or violation of these Terms is identified.

7.7 Future Learning Solutions

Detective Guru Academy™ may introduce additional educational services, digital products or learning formats in the future.

Such Learning Solutions shall automatically be governed by these Terms & Conditions unless separate terms are specifically published.

All Learning Solutions offered by Detective Guru Academy™ are intended to promote education, awareness, ethical thinking and responsible decision-making.

Learners are solely responsible for how they apply the knowledge gained through the Academy. Detective Guru Academy™ does not encourage, endorse or accept responsibility for any unlawful, unethical or improper use of its educational content.

8. Orders, Payments & Billing

Detective Guru Academy™ is the educational division and registered learning brand operated by Secret Watch Detectives Private Limited.

Accordingly, all purchases made through Detective Guru Academy™, including but not limited to Books, Online Courses, Workshops, Webinars, Consultations, Certifications and other Learning Solutions, shall be processed by Secret Watch Detectives Private Limited, which is the authorised legal entity responsible for payment processing, billing, taxation and financial compliance.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

1. The information provided by you is true, complete and accurate.
2. You are authorised to use the selected payment method.
3. You agree to pay all applicable charges, taxes and fees associated with your purchase.

All payments shall be made only through the payment methods authorised by Detective Guru Academy™ or Secret Watch Detectives Private Limited.

Payments may be accepted through authorised payment gateways, banking partners or other approved payment methods made available on the Platform.

8.1 Payment Information

Where applicable:

1. Payments shall be credited to the official bank account(s) of Secret Watch Detectives Private Limited.
2. Tax Invoices shall be issued by Secret Watch Detectives Private Limited.
3. GST shall be charged, collected and reported by Secret Watch Detectives Private Limited wherever applicable under Indian law.
4. Any GST Input Tax Credit (ITC), where legally available, may be claimed only on invoices issued by Secret Watch Detectives Private Limited and shall remain subject to the applicable GST laws and regulations.
5. All accounting records, payment records and statutory financial documentation relating to purchases made through Detective Guru Academy™ shall be maintained by Secret Watch Detectives Private Limited.

 8.2 Orders

Orders will be processed only after successful receipt and verification of payment.

Detective Guru Academy™ reserves the right to refuse, suspend or cancel any order where:

1. Incorrect pricing has been displayed due to a technical or human error.
2. Fraudulent or suspicious payment activity is detected.
3. The transaction violates applicable laws or these Terms & Conditions.
4. The purchased Learning Solution becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.

If a payment remains unsuccessful or incomplete, access to the purchased Learning Solution may not be activated until the payment has been successfully completed.

8.3 Promotional Offers

From time to time, Detective Guru Academy™ may offer promotional pricing, discount coupons, scholarship programs or special educational offers.

Such offers:

1. May be available only for a limited period.
2. May be subject to separate eligibility criteria.
3. May not be combined with any other offer unless expressly permitted.
4. May be modified or withdrawn without prior notice.

8.4 Payment Security

For your security, Detective Guru Academy™ and Secret Watch Detectives Private Limited do not store your complete debit card, credit card or banking credentials.

Payments are processed through authorised third-party payment gateways that maintain their own security standards and regulatory compliance.

8.5 Legal Entity

For all contractual, financial, accounting, taxation and legal purposes, Secret Watch Detectives Private Limited shall be treated as the contracting legal entity responsible for providing the Learning Solutions offered under the Detective Guru Academy™ brand, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

Users are encouraged to contact Detective Guru Academy™ before initiating any payment dispute or chargeback with their bank or payment provider.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated without a genuine basis, Detective Guru Academy™ reserves the right to temporarily suspend access to the relevant Learning Solution while the matter is under review.

Nothing contained in this section limits or restricts any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.

10. Course Access & Usage Policy

Detective Guru Academy™ provides access to Online Courses, Learning Programs and digital educational resources through its Learning Management System ("LMS") and other authorised digital platforms.

By enrolling in any Course or Learning Program, you agree to comply with the following Course Access & Usage Policy.

10.1 Personal Licence

Course access is granted as a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence solely for your personal educational use.

Your purchase grants you the right to access the Course only for your own learning.

Ownership of all Course Content shall remain exclusively with Detective Guru Academy™ and/or Secret Watch Detectives Private Limited.

10.2 Access Duration

The access period for each Course shall be clearly mentioned at the time of enrolment.

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

1. Course access is valid only for the duration specified on the Course page.
2. Access does not automatically renew unless separately purchased.
3. Detective Guru Academy™ may extend access at its sole discretion.
4. Where "Lifetime Access" is offered, it refers to the lifetime availability of that Course on the Academy Platform and not the lifetime of the learner.

10.3 User Account & Account Sharing

Each learner must access the Platform using only their own registered account.

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

1. Sharing login credentials.
2. Allowing another individual to access your account.
3. Simultaneous use of one account by multiple users.
4. Selling, transferring or renting Course access.

If account sharing or unauthorised access is detected, Detective Guru Academy™ reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate Course access without refund.

10.4 Permitted Use of Course Content

All Course Content is protected under applicable copyright, trademark and intellectual property laws.

Without prior written permission from Detective Guru Academy™, you shall not:

1. Copy Course materials.
2. Download restricted Course videos.
3. Screen record Lessons.
4. Record Course audio.
5. Reproduce PDFs or Study Material.
6. Redistribute Course Content.
7. Upload Course Content to public websites or social media.
8. Sell, licence or commercially exploit any educational material.

10.5 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage

Learners may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for personal learning, note-making, revision and educational assistance, provided such use remains lawful, ethical and non-commercial.

However, users shall not:

1. Upload Course Videos to AI training platforms.
2. Use Course Materials to train AI models.
3. Create competing educational products using Academy Content.
4. Publish AI-generated reproductions of Academy materials.
5. Use automated tools, bots or software to scrape or extract Course Content.

10.6 Downloads & Learning Resources

Where downloadable resources are provided, they are supplied solely for the registered learner's personal educational use.

Downloaded materials must not be redistributed, reproduced, modified, translated, sold, sublicensed or commercially exploited without prior written permission from Detective Guru Academy™.

10.7 Platform Availability

Detective Guru Academy™ aims to provide reliable access to its Learning Platform.

However, temporary interruptions may occur due to:

1. Scheduled maintenance.
2. Platform upgrades.
3. Internet connectivity issues.
4. Third-party service interruptions.
5. Security enhancements.
6. Events beyond reasonable control.

Such interruptions shall not normally constitute grounds for refund or compensation.

10.8 Course Updates

To maintain quality and accuracy, Detective Guru Academy™ may periodically:

2. Add new Modules.
3. Improve Course Content.
4. Replace outdated information.
5. Modify assessments and learning resources.

10.9 Academic Integrity

Learners are expected to complete all Courses, Assessments and Certification requirements honestly and independently.

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

1. Cheating.
2. Impersonation.
3. Sharing examination answers.
4. Copying assignments.
5. Using unauthorised assistance during assessments.
6. Misrepresenting Course completion.

Violation of these standards may result in:

2. Cancellation of Certification.

10.11 Course Completion

Successful completion of a Course indicates that the learner has fulfilled the educational requirements established by Detective Guru Academy™.

Course completion does not constitute:

1. A Government Licence.
2. A Professional Licence.
3. An Employment Guarantee.
4. A Business Guarantee.
5. Any legal authorisation to practise a regulated profession.

To enhance the learning experience, Detective Guru Academy™ may record and analyse learning-related information, including:

2. Lesson completion.
3. Assessment scores.
4. Certificate eligibility.

Such information is used solely for educational administration, learner support, certification, platform improvement and other legitimate educational purposes in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

10.13 Future Learning Technologies

Detective Guru Academy™ may introduce new learning technologies, mobile applications, AI-assisted learning tools, virtual classrooms, interactive assessments and future educational platforms.

Unless otherwise stated, such technologies shall also be governed by these Terms & Conditions.

9. General Legal Provisions

The following provisions apply to all users, learners, visitors, customers and members of Detective Guru Academy™ and shall be read together with these Terms & Conditions.

9.1 Limitation of Liability

Detective Guru Academy™ and Secret Watch Detectives Private Limited make every reasonable effort to provide accurate, practical and high-quality educational content.

However, all Learning Solutions are provided on an educational basis, and users remain solely responsible for how they interpret and apply the information provided.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Detective Guru Academy™, Secret Watch Detectives Private Limited, their directors, employees, trainers, consultants, representatives and authorised partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary loss, damage, expense or claim arising from:

1. Use or inability to use the Platform.
2. Reliance upon any educational content.
3. Personal, professional or business decisions made by users.
4. Technical interruptions or temporary unavailability of the Platform.
5. Unauthorised access by third parties.
6. Any misuse of the Academy's Learning Solutions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

9.2 User Responsibility & Indemnification

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the Platform and Learning Solutions complies with all applicable laws, regulations and these Terms & Conditions.

Where a user's unlawful conduct, misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms or infringement of the rights of any third party results in any claim, legal proceeding, investigation, penalty, loss or expense against Detective Guru Academy™ or Secret Watch Detectives Private Limited, the user agrees to remain responsible for such consequences to the extent permitted under applicable law.

9.3 Suspension & Termination

Detective Guru Academy™ reserves the right to suspend, restrict or permanently terminate access to any part of the Platform, Learning Solutions, DG Connect™ or any related service where a user:

1. Violates these Terms & Conditions.
2. Misuses the Platform or Academy Content.
3. Engages in unlawful, fraudulent or unethical activities.
4. Infringes intellectual property rights.
5. Harasses or threatens other users or Academy representatives.
6. Attempts to compromise the security or integrity of the Platform.
7. Acts in a manner that may damage the reputation, operations or legitimate interests of Detective Guru Academy™.

Where appropriate, such action may be taken without prior notice.

Suspension or termination shall not automatically entitle the user to any refund, compensation or continued access to previously purchased Learning Solutions, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

9.4 Survival

Any provisions relating to intellectual property, confidentiality, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability or any other clauses which by their nature are intended to survive termination shall continue to remain in effect even after a user's account, Course access or membership has ended.

9.5 Legal Interpretation

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable by a court or competent authority, the remaining provisions shall continue to remain valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.

Any dispute, claim or legal proceeding arising out of or relating to the Platform, its Learning Solutions or these Terms & Conditions shall, subject to applicable law, fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in New Delhi, India.

Nothing contained in these Terms shall restrict any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

Detective Guru Academy™ reserves the right to modify, update, amend or revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in applicable laws, business operations, educational services or Platform functionality.

The latest version of these Terms & Conditions shall always be published on the official Platform.

Continued use of the Platform after any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions.

Where required by law or where considered appropriate, users may be notified of material changes through the Platform, email or other official communication channels.

13. Grievance Redressal

Detective Guru Academy™ is committed to providing a fair, transparent and responsive grievance resolution process.

If any learner, customer or user has a complaint regarding the Platform, Learning Solutions, payments, certifications, privacy, intellectual property or any other matter, they are encouraged to contact the Academy through the official grievance channel.

Every genuine grievance shall be reviewed within a reasonable period, and appropriate efforts shall be made to resolve the matter in a fair and professional manner.

Where required under applicable law, the details of the designated Grievance Officer, including name, email address and contact details, shall be published on the official website.

The Academy reserves the right to request supporting documents or additional information where necessary to properly investigate and resolve a grievance.
