REFUND, CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

Detective Guru Academy™ is committed to delivering high-quality educational products and services. As many of our Learning Solutions involve immediate access to digital content, limited-seat events or personalised educational services, different refund, cancellation and rescheduling rules may apply depending on the type of Learning Solution purchased.

By purchasing any Learning Solution from Detective Guru Academy™, you acknowledge and agree to the following policy.

1. General Policy

All refund, cancellation and rescheduling requests shall be reviewed in accordance with this Policy.

Submission of a request does not automatically guarantee approval.

Each request will be evaluated based on the nature of the Learning Solution, the stage of delivery and the applicable terms.

2. Digital Learning Solutions

Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchases of the following digital products are generally non-refundable once access has been granted:

1. • Online Courses
2. • Recorded Webinars
3. • Digital Books (eBooks)
4. • Downloadable Resources
5. • Digital Study Materials
6. • Educational Downloads
7. • Recorded Learning Sessions

This policy exists because digital content becomes immediately accessible and cannot be returned once delivered.

3. Physical Books

If Detective Guru Academy™ offers printed Books, replacement or refund requests may be considered only under the following circumstances:

1. • Incorrect Book delivered.
2. • Damaged Book received.
3. • Manufacturing defect.
4. • Missing shipment confirmed by the courier.

Any such request should normally be submitted within seven (7) days of delivery together with reasonable supporting evidence, including photographs where applicable.

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage after delivery or dissatisfaction with the content shall not constitute valid grounds for replacement or refund.

4. Workshops

Workshop registrations may be transferred or rescheduled only where permitted by the Academy.

If Detective Guru Academy™ cancels a Workshop, participants may be offered one of the following options:

1. • Transfer to another Workshop.
2. • Credit towards another Learning Solution.
3. • Refund, where applicable.

If a participant is unable to attend due to personal reasons, refund eligibility shall depend upon the cancellation timeline communicated at the time of registration.

5. Webinars

Live Webinar registrations are generally non-refundable.

Where a Webinar is cancelled by Detective Guru Academy™, participants may receive:

1. • Access to the rescheduled Webinar.
2. • Access to the Webinar recording (where available).
3. • Credit towards another Webinar.
4. • Refund, where applicable.

Failure to attend a live Webinar shall not automatically entitle the participant to a refund.

6. Consultations

Consultation appointments may be rescheduled upon reasonable prior notice, subject to availability.

If a participant fails to attend a scheduled Consultation without prior notice, the Consultation may be treated as completed and no refund or replacement session may be provided.

The Academy reserves the right to reschedule a Consultation due to unforeseen circumstances affecting the assigned consultant.

7. Certification Programs

Registration fees paid for Certification Programs are generally non-refundable once the learner has been granted access to the program or assessment.

Where an examination or assessment is postponed by the Academy, learners shall be informed of the revised schedule.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

Detective Guru Academy™ understands that genuine emergencies may arise.

Requests submitted due to exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually at the sole discretion of the Academy.

Approval of such requests shall not create a precedent for future cases.

9. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved:

1. • Refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method.
2. • Processing timelines may vary depending upon banks, payment gateways and applicable financial regulations.
3. • Applicable transaction charges, gateway charges or statutory deductions may be deducted wherever permitted by law.

10. Cancellation by Detective Guru Academy™

Detective Guru Academy™ reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, modify or cancel any Learning Solution due to circumstances including, but not limited to:

1. • Technical issues.
2. • Insufficient registrations.
3. • Trainer availability.
4. • Force majeure events.
5. • Government restrictions.
6. • Safety concerns.
7. • Circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Where appropriate, affected learners may receive an alternative session, credit note or refund at the sole discretion of the Academy.

11. No Refund for Misconduct

Refund requests shall normally not be entertained where access has been suspended or terminated due to:

1. • Violation of these Terms & Conditions.
2. • Academic misconduct.
3. • Sharing of copyrighted content.
4. • Misuse of the Platform.
5. • Fraudulent activity.
6. • Behaviour inconsistent with the Academy's Community Guidelines.

12. Contact for Refund Requests

All refund, cancellation or rescheduling requests should be submitted through the official communication channels published on the Detective Guru Academy™ website.

The Academy aims to review genuine requests as promptly as reasonably possible.

13. Special Offers, Scholarships & Promotional Purchases

From time to time, Detective Guru Academy™ may offer promotional pricing, scholarships, early bird discounts, bundled Learning Solutions, complimentary access, corporate learning programs, institutional partnerships, franchise training programs or other special educational offers.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in the specific offer, the following terms shall apply:

1. Promotional offers may be available only for a limited period.
2. Discount coupons, scholarship benefits and promotional pricing cannot normally be combined with any other offer unless      specifically permitted.
3. Complimentary, sponsored or scholarship-based access may not be eligible for refunds, transfers or cash redemption.
4. Learning Solutions purchased under bundled offers shall be governed by the refund and cancellation terms applicable to that specific bundle.
5. Corporate, institutional or group training programs may be subject to separate commercial agreements, service contracts or customised cancellation terms.
6. Franchise, partner or authorised training programs may have additional terms communicated separately at the time of enrolment or execution of the relevant agreement.
7. Detective Guru Academy™ reserves the right to modify, extend, withdraw or discontinue any promotional campaign, scholarship program, discount offer or educational initiative at its sole discretion without prior notice.
8. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional pricing shall not create any ongoing entitlement to future discounts, complimentary services or preferential pricing.
9. In the event of any inconsistency between this Policy and the terms of a specific promotional campaign, scholarship program or corporate agreement, the terms communicated specifically for that offer shall prevail.

14. Future Educational Offers

Detective Guru Academy™ may introduce new Learning Solutions, membership plans, subscription models, lifetime access programs, premium educational services or other commercial offerings in the future.

Such offerings may be governed by separate terms, eligibility criteria, pricing structures and refund policies communicated at the time of purchase.

Where applicable, those specific terms shall supplement these Terms & Conditions.
